I forgot to mention my birthday was last Monday - I have officially been sixteen for eight days now. So happy~!

Anyway, for my birthday, I had a party with all fifteen of my friends and most of my family members in attendance. The theme of the party was "Musical Education", and basically each guest brought a CD and played one song from a band they figured no one else would have heard of. I had three CDs of my own filled with songs from my top eight mostly-unknown artists (among my friends and family): Sonata Arctica, E Nomine, The Rasmus, Tarja Turunen, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Jena Lee.

As a surprise, three of my friends came dressed as characters from my book (these three being three of five of my friends and family who are aware that I'm writing a book). Anthony was Desoto, Ree was Kiara, and Chris came as Scythe. It was totally awesome.

At the end of the party they started playing Lucifer's Angel and kept replaying it while they gave me a total makeover. They made me look like Amaranti - and I actually made a hot Amaranti. Unfortunately "Scythe" and "Desoto" started fighting over me, and my father was too busy laughing and telling Grandpa to get the guns to snap any shots. TT.TT

Anyway, my new nickname is apparently "Angel" (I threatened to murder anyone who called me Lucy) among my friends, and if you're confused about the pun, let me explain: Amaranti used to be very close to Terran, and now that he is pretty much considered the Devil, everyone calls Amaranti Lucifer's Angel. Get it?
